Whitespace Remover
Our whitespace remover strips out unnecessary spaces, tabs, and extra line breaks from your text or code as you type. By default it collapses each run of spaces and tabs into a single space, trims the start and end of every line, and reduces several blank lines in a row to one. In the settings you can remove blank lines entirely, or switch the mode to remove all whitespace, which joins everything into one unbroken string. Trimming every line also removes the indentation from code, so use it on code only when you want the indentation gone. Whether you are cleaning up data copied from a spreadsheet, a list of values, or CSV files for import, this tool ensures your content is free of hidden whitespace characters that can cause parsing errors and inconsistent formatting.

What Types of Whitespace Does This Tool Remove?
The tool targets several kinds of whitespace that commonly cause problems: leading and trailing spaces on each line, consecutive duplicate spaces within text, extra blank lines, and tab characters. It also handles non-breaking spaces, zero-width spaces, and other invisible Unicode whitespace characters that are often introduced when copying text from websites, PDFs, or word processors.
